Get the highlights.

Seconds, not guesswork.

One tap from the Share sheet, or paste the text. The answer is back before you’d finish googling the sender.

The actual red flags.

Not a vague score — the specific things that look wrong, in plain language.

One clear next step.

Delete it, report it, or check with the institution directly. Always just one.

History that stays put.

Past checks live only on your iPhone, encrypted. Delete them any time.

How it works

Three steps. No guesswork.

  1. 01

    Send it to WardOff

Paste the message, or tap Share › WardOff in Mail, WhatsApp, or any app that shares text.

  2. 02

    AI checks it

An AI model looks for fake links, pressure to act now, requests for codes or money, and institutions being impersonated.

  3. 03

    Get a clear verdict

A risk level, what we noticed, and one recommended action — in seconds.

Paste a message into WardOff, or tap Share › WardOff in another app. WardOff never reads your messages in the background — it only checks the one you send.

Links are never tappable in WardOff — they’re shown defanged, like hxxps://, so a mis-tap can’t open them.

Five calm verdicts

Honest about what it doesn’t know.

A false alarm on a real bank notification is worse than no answer at all. So WardOff will tell you when a message looks fine — and when there just isn’t enough to go on.

Appears legitimate

Reads like a routine, genuine message. No red flags that matter.

Low risk

Something’s slightly unusual, but nothing points clearly to fraud.

Medium risk

Several warning signs. Don’t act on it until you’ve verified it yourself.

High risk

Strong, specific signs of a scam. Red is reserved for this alone.

Uncertain — verify independently

Not enough signal either way. We’d rather say so than guess.

Privacy

Your messages stay with you.

WardOff only ever sees the message you choose to send it. Nothing else, and never in the background.

Not stored on our servers

WardOff’s servers keep no message text, links, or results.

History on your iPhone only

Past checks are encrypted and kept on this device — nowhere else.

Delete it any time

One button in Settings removes your whole history, for good.

No ads. No tracking.

No advertising, no analytics SDK, and message text is never logged.

To analyse a message, its text is sent over a secure connection to Jev, an AI model from TypeSafe. AI can be wrong — before an important decision, verify through the institution’s official channel.

Questions? Answers.

Does WardOff read my messages or SMS?

No. iOS doesn’t allow that, and WardOff wouldn’t want to. It only analyses text you paste in or explicitly share to it — one message at a time.

How do I check a text message (SMS)?

In Messages, touch and hold the message, tap Copy, then paste it into WardOff. In Mail, WhatsApp, and other apps that share text, you can tap Share › WardOff instead.

Can WardOff be wrong?

Yes. It’s an AI assessment and it can make mistakes, which is why it tells you when it isn’t sure. It’s advisory only — not legal or financial advice. Before acting on anything important, contact the institution through its official channel.

Can I check screenshots or voice calls?

Not at the moment — WardOff checks message text. Copy the text of the message and paste it in.

Which languages does it support?

English and Turkish, both for the app and for the messages it analyses.

How do I delete my data?

Open Settings in WardOff and tap Delete all history. Everything stored on the device is removed permanently.

The next suspicious message is one tap away.

Check it before you click, reply, or pay.
